This position handles the front office and requires exceptional phone skills and customer service for external and internal clients. Performs a variety of routine tasks, which are intended to provide experience and interaction with other staff, methods, practices, programs, and the culture of the organization. Prepares, or assists in the preparation of: engineering and/or architectural documents, schedules, letters, or reports as assigned.
Represents the organization in initial on-premise contact, providing routine information and direction to callers and visitors. Receives and relays incoming calls and takes messages; directs calls of a general nature to the proper party; receives and directs visitors, clients, and applicants to proper individual; programming of phone system. Performs routine, repetitive clerical functions such as typing, filing, distribution of mail, scanning, arranging courier services, travel arrangements to include airline, hotel, car rental, simple coding and/or verification, compiling simple statistical calculations, update other Corporate files. Operate photocopy machine, adding machine, postage machine, binding machine.
Provide assistance to Human Resources for employee recognition tasks and other tasks as given.
Duties or assignments will change from time to time which requires the ability to adapt and set priorities while working under pressure of multiple demands.
Works cooperatively with other employees to achieve the company’s mission, vision, and values.
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Computer experience to include Microsoft Office 2013.
Preferably has experience working in engineering and architectural consulting.
